# Breaking Down Trump’s Executive Order on Foreign Importers of Record

On June 3, 2026, President Trump signed an [executive order](https://www.flex.thisisbrew.com/blog/new-customs-enforcement-executive-order-key-changes-for-importers/) directing a sweeping overhaul of U.S. customs enforcement.
